I think off reading other boards Clowney is more likely headed to Indiana. Nickel however seems to be aware UNC is slow playing him a little. Would be funny to see UNC not get Whitmore or Nickel, which is very realistic.

Yeah looks like Nickel is VT’s to lose. Doubt he even takes the Iowa visit. Rice has a few CBs to VT but I could see that being a toss up as well, since he has the last visit scheduled for Louisville. I’d be surprised if Clowney doesn’t end up at IU.

If UNC doesn’t get whitmore I wonder if they’d pivot to Nickel. If they want him I have a hard time seeing the Hokies winning that recruitment

Came across this while carousing other boards (on the kentucky rivals board which is free so I think that makes it okay to post)
They really want Reed Sheppard/hate the current Kentucky model lol.

That person is not alone. A growing contingent in the Kentucky fan base (probably more than 50%). They sacrificed the joy of developing and watching players grow for one national title 10 years ago (still probably worth but destroying a strong hobby/culture maybe not) .

My point is Tony owned Roy, but not necessarily UNC the institution. We shall see if he owns Hubert too.

Gotcha. I do feel that HD will run a similar style to Roy though and that style plays right into what Tony does well. Could see the dominance continuing but eventually they have to beat us, right?
Hubert’s recruiting seems to indicate he wants to play smaller. The questions on Hubert (including from inside the house) seem to be on Xs and Os. Curious to see how he does there.
Hubert lotta NBA experience (albeit not modern modern) maybe implement some of that stuff?

Smoke is Malik Reneau to Florida. FSU board is in as big a meltdown mode as you can get for it being a “football school” during football season (so only a 1 page thread lol). Apparently they have 0 power forwards on the roster for 2022 so they don’t understand how he could choose Florida over FSU/also don’t understand Taylor Hendricks to UCF (I don’t either/ I get the playing with your bro factor but your a top 60 recruit cmon). But also means Julian Phillips has to be FSU bound with a clear role there, even though other schools recruiting him like us and Alabama have more experience with wing defenders like him.

6’6-6’9 small forwards 3 and D wings? Nah Barnes is more of a ben simmons wannabe type. the others have been guards or bigs. The patrick dude from last year is the only one off the top of my head with the bulls. Tony has Anderson, Murphy, Hunter, Klay Thompson, Joe Harris as 3 and D guys/ small forwards.
