This is why Iām not so high on Claude. We have a pretty good set of guys in the backcourt already, no need to risk it!
Also I am not exactly counting on Gertrude and Mallory this year, but I do sort of expect at least one of them to be a pretty solid contributor and both should be decent at getting their own shot.

Adding Claude woukd make it easier for those other playmakers to play. His presence takes pressure off of them. I agree that I would absolutely take Malik over him but Claude does raise the ceiling of this team considerably (from an 8-9 seed to a sweet 16 team) IMO

I think Lopez signed with the NBL last offseason: Mexican forward Karim Lopez dreams of shooting hoops in NBA
Lopez attracted interest from American colleges, but he wouldnāt have been eligible to play until the 2025-26 season. He also said that he considered the G League Ignite before the NBA closed the program after last season. Lopez ultimately decided that joining the NBL Next Stars program was the best option and signed with the Breakers.

Iām trying to get in Freshās head here. He knows @Bedfordhoo from Vinton. So either everybody west of Charlottesville lives in Vinton or every small VA town is Vinton, or all the nice people are from Vinton.
