Vols are in deep with high level PG (2 guys, id bet they land one of them). Believe they have been involved with Spiller before the JP news hit as well. Barnes aint going anywhere. They are reportedly going to raise more NIL to give him one really good go. Lots of money available with Gillespie and Ament gone when you add several more $$$M to the portal. They’ll get some good portal guys and I expect a better constructed roster. They’ll likely land a combo forward from a mid-major shortly.
Scanning mock drafts, he is either early 2nd round or in the category of not being listed by some mocks because they assume everyone with eligibility outside of the top 40 is coming back to college.

Dai Dai apparently already very popular/tampered with by “a few sweet 16 teams”.
Possibly as a pure scorer he fits as well next to chance or that we would start him over chance.
Glad he was able to have a strong season with a third team all ACC appearance and is about to get paid. Was wrong about him before last season

Outside of the fact that Barnes is from NC, sure. Grant Williams was from Charlotte before Gainey was on staff.

Id like to get bigger in the backcourt and Dai Dai isnt very big himself. I get Hill is only an inch or so taller but seems to play bigger. Also, feels like Ames has to be on ball and Hill can be off ball and get his points. I love the idea of Hill as he can run the point and be your 2 so you can still have him play a 12-15 mpg as the PG when Mallory sits and he slides into 15mpg with him off-ball. Then you go get longer with the other two guard/wing rotation players 6’5 or taller.
