I thought they changed it so players participating in the combine had to scrimmage? Seems like that was a big subject last year.

So uh Dunn has gotta do the shooting drills I assume? I doubt people are nearly as interested in seeing him scrimmage as shoot.

Feels like if he had to pick RD would skip the shooting drills and get some live scrimmage reps.

SF vs PF isn’t really meaningful as a distinction in the NBA (or college for that reason). What matters is:
- Who does he defend (everyone)
- What does he do on offense (kind of an open question at the NBA level)

Yes. Medicals, measurements, strength and agility testing, performance testing(?), and shooting drills are specified in the CBA. Scrimmages and any other live action offense vs defense is optional.

Did he cheat on his standing reach? Each year, combine sleuths find guys with some suspicious differentials between their wingspan and standing reach that are usually signs of trying to manipulate the baseline for the vertical.
Dunn did great, maybe even better than expected in some cases, on the athleticism tests. But, kinda as feared, is doing poorly on the shooting tests. Hopefully expectations were low enough that it isn’t a minus.
