Have we reached a point where it’s safe to assume Desmond Roberts is back? He entered the Portal but seemingly never committed anywhere, and still shows UVA basketball on his social media accounts. Very valuable guy to have in that “14th roster spot” kind of role, chemistry with the holdovers like Lang and Gertrude, and a talented upperclassman to provide tough minutes on the scout team.

I like bad punny nicknames and this is one I’ve thought of myself, but it would seem incredibly awkward to find the right situation to pull this one out on a broadcast. But all of these names are terrible.

For that matter, what’s Tony Elliott’s middle initial? Because TE (tight end) and CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy, i.e. concussion-driven brain damage) have never really been options.

So we have confirmation of Dallin, Chance, Jacari, Malik, Sam, Devin, Silas on grounds… assuming Elijah and Lang are as well. I know Johann and (Hopefully/probably) Thijs will not join til later. That leaves Onyenso and Carrere… any confirmation of their presence? I tjough Onyenso said he would be there… maybe issues getting back from his Mexico vacay?
