I had always assumed that Reid wasn’t interested in UNC as there was no clear path to early playing time, and that UNC wasn’t going to waste any effort trying to change his mind. The departures of Kessler, Sharpe, Brooks, and, even, Manley change that. Suddenly, the front court isn’t nearly as crowded. I am not convinced that it is a good fit, but I can understand the appeal the situation has for both parties.

Yeah, THAT game I remember perfectly. But I’m not sure we’ve ever played Purdue other than that.
