I just looked at the list again… if there had been one less storm so far this season… the name would’ve been Ezra. Imagine the puns we could’ve used for that one…

Here in Carolina we were getting excited at first thinking we would get a bunch of snow but now it’s looking like a bunch of freezing rain sleet and a little bit of snow so that’s always the worst… ugh…
And then really cold afterwards so could be a lot of power outages, hoping that’s not the case
As a resident of Iowa I’m supposed to mock all the snow storm concerns, but as someone who grew up in Virginia, I feel for you.
Plus Iowa knows how to handle snow and budgets for the climate. Typically we have dry pavement on main roads within 24-36 hours of even major snow. The snow is mostly missing us but we’re in for -30 degree windchill on Friday. Schools will probably close, but not all.
Accuweather has a new tab I have never seen before: Wintercast. It must be very popular as it is won’t load for me after a minute.
The ice and snow is not supposed to arrive in Charlotte until Saturday midday–I assume roughly the same timing for Chapel Hell. Unless they fear their return trip will be a problem and abort, I would expect that UNC could make it to the game.
Kevin’s been my go to for Roanoke and western Virginia weather for many years.
Very happy to see that the storm is moving much slower than originally predicted, so playing the game – with full attendance – should happen. Really excited for the game!
Classic weather spaz of over promise under deliver. It will be fine since we know when joy comes
This storm is going to deliver, unfortunately. It is just slow moving. What you say is almost always true of Charlottesville, though. It’s pretty comical.
Same everywhere especially NYC area
