Rohde is definitely an adventurous passer, he will try to make the tougher pass that will put the offensive flow one step ahead of the defense if it works. It doesn’t always work, but I think it is an important skill that no one else on the team really has except for Reece. Like the pass he made 8:17 left in the second half where he touch-passed to a rolling Dunn right after catching a pass from Reece in tight quarters.
That pass was sweet! Not high risk, just a darn good look at what was going on.
Anyone know how old Rohde is? Was wondering how much older he is than TJ power
Blake does not really have a great vertical. Great feet, length, and timing but the hops are average. I bet he will improve the explosion just like Gill did.
Yuri Barnes flattened Eric Montross in a game. He was plenty tough.
I’ve been watching Reece for three seasons and yes, he has an old man walk, but he did look like something was tweaking him to my eye.
I think Reece is pressing a little early and trying to implement some of the draft feedback into his offensive game which may take some time.
It’s a new role for him and this is the time in the season to struggle with it. I’m not worried about him at all.
Sampson could legit touch the top of the backboard. I remember one game sitting behind the basket, and Othell threw a lob that was so ridiculously high we all put our hands up because we expected it to sail into the stands. Yet, somehow, Ralph went up, caught it with one hand, and slammed it home. The guy was unbelievable.
Yea Reece has some Zion in him in that regard. Hard to believe someone that walks so uncomfortably can be such a good athlete once he gets up to fill steam. Hope he’s doing yoga or some other type of flexibility work so he will be able to move comfortably after his playing days and not be one of those ex athletes who’s body is just broken
That’s just his schtick
His vertical is ok. But I think his explosiveness is great. Two different things. He’s able to get to top of his vertical fast + has a quick second jump. Both are huge for bigs.
For our bigs, the most important physical feature is the ability to move their feet and have adequate body control to perform the hedge and recover on defense. He does that as well as any first year big I can remember.
He runs the floor really well and plays with a high motor. I’m very excited for his development.
Nope…other than J Willy saying game to game on his show Wed.
The person below her is having an out of body experience though. Dunn possessed even
On a block last night - his vertical seemed pretty good as he volleyball spiked it out of bounds. Granted - the block was also beautiful help, timing and speed to meet the ball before apex !
Vertical used to be two feet flat and jump. I think they do one step now which makes more sense
Blake can jump and is loooong
Yeah, he’s not Mamadi athletic, but he’s definitely a good athlete who has all the physical tools. Now he needs to get stronger and refine his game.
The reaction shots were all awesome, and reflected genuine amazement, which was cool. And then the random Oprah pic? I don’t really get it, but somehow it fit.
Dunn looks like a lottery pick…
