Thank you my friend
The upside is unreal.
Wait til Elijah gets off the redshirt
The guy below the jumping male cheerleader looks like fake Tony lol.
Cory talked about Elijah on the broadcast … called him Adam Hall from a hops perspective. Can’t wait to see that in JPJ again.
Cory has known (about) Eli for a long time but we know hoo closed it there! Haha
Cory talked redshirts and Eli at the 2:20min remaining mark in 2H broadcast for those who may have not seen the game yet.
Go HOOS. Beat Wisconsin.
I’ve probably been to a dozen games since moving back to VA last summer, and for the OOC mid majors, can usually get LL’s for not too bad of a price…especially during the week.
Only thing is there’s typically more older, more reserved fans in the LL’s. Last night, the section I was in, I think every person jumped up and was freaking out after the Dunn dunk. Closest thing I can remember was when Reece dunked on VT to close the 1st half last year, but even that didn’t get last night’s reaction.
Lol, you could seriously pick almost anyone in the crowd on that pic and its hilarious. Other than maybe the girl in the orange t-shirt on the right who looks excited but sleepy.
@brogdonfanpage free STL idea: power rank the reactions to Dunn’s dunk in a buzzfeedesque list. It’s the content we need.
This may have been discussed already, but do you have any issue with Cory calling his broadcast partner “Dougie Fresh”? Seems to me Cory should know better.
Of course I do!
Quickly scanned this thread but didnt see an uproar when Bond pulled a Groves and missed a wide open dunk. Cory referred to it as a flat tire. I was shocked to say the least.
Was honestly weird. He was a great dunker in high school and still looks like a fantastic athlete. But he hasn’t been getting up as high on his dunks (at least in this last game). Wonder if he’s put on more weight and that’s slowing him down a bit, maybe he had some shoe issues - who knows.
He’s had two nice putback dunks this year.
It seems like both fast breaks last night his timing was off.
Dunn still sizes up his breakaway dunks, but he’s figured it out pretty well it seems.
Yeah, I don’t know what happened there. Looked like he couldn’t decide to dunk or lay it in, and got caught in between.
Yeah, probably was just a flukey timing thing. He’ll get that worked out.
Happens to me a lot
To your point - he’s effectively played one full game at starter’s minutes.
8 points on 7 FGA, 8 rebounds (6 offensive), 1 block, 4 fouls, 2 turnovers, 1 assist and 2/2 FTS.
Some players are best as two footed jumpers and others as one footed. Some are great at both. Dunn might be at his best off two feet.
