I enhanced the photo and, unfortunately…no.
Looks like Adam Smotherland aka Brett Venables “get back guy” is heading to Charlottesville to join Elliott’s S&C staff
To piggy back off this Brennan has a very clear mechanical thing he can do to improve his draft stock: quicken his release. Brennan also doesn’t have a physical cap to his like Kyle’s height and inability to add muscle.
How often does that happen though? A draft eligible mid-round QB who was not a 4/5 star coming out of HS comes back to improve his stock to the 1st/2nd round and actually does?
Pickett and before that Trask (was he even on the 2020 draft radar?), Burrow for sure, Herbert was going to go high but came back anyway, same with Love, Hurts was a 4 star, Daniel Jones fits, Lock was a 4 star, Baker Mayfield fits, Josh Allen.
I mean we’re talking a literal handful of cases. It’d be great if he became a Pickett or Burrow story, but that’d be beating the odds.
Carla needs to hire another Tony to coach something. Tony! Toni! Toné! needs to happen.
That would feel good! Ha
When O’Connor leaves. National Coach of the Year at Tennessee.
Here’s the presser if you haven’t watched yet:
You’re right that is rare and in Pickets case he showed the culminations of years of consistency and work. Burrow was always highly regarded he got stuck in a procession of studs and then he landed in the dream spot with the most loaded offense ever and the hottest coordinator at the time.
Typically I feel like the opposite happens. Most guys come back for that 5th yr and look okay but not as good as their previous season and actually cost themselves some draft position
Can’t like that comment enough
I think it comes down to the feedback. You don’t come back to try to move from 3rd round to 1st round, but if you’re hearing “hey it’s not clear you’re getting drafted except maybe in the last 2 rounds” then maybe you can play your way into a middle round pick.
I think he’s gone, but who knows.
Hope FCT and his staff are ready.
I want to see Arch Manning’s lol

I’m not there yet, but for the first time ever I can see the end to my love of college sports on the horizon.
This is really cool!
My per post value: priceless.
“Hi, I’m Arch Manning, the Ohanian Family Starting Quarterback for YOUR Virginia Cavaliers.”
I see a future where you can buy future tweets or IG posts or whatever from someone and then sell them to someone else if they go up in value.
I’d be shocked if you can’t already do that. If they can sell NFTs of yet to be released albums they can probably do something similar for future tweets and IG posts.
Who provides feedback to the players on where they may be drafted? Is it a group of GMs or just some folks from the league office or something else?
