Great point. If Beck is getting looks as an OC he almost has to take it. Kind of along the same lines as I think BA has to go pro this yr and take advantage of the great year he had. Beck looks like a QB/Offensive guru right now, and he can command more than he ever has.

I don’t see Beck following Anae. Beck deserves an OC job somewhere, not a QB coach under Anae.
I haven’t heard Beck even rumored anywhere besides Cuse and one Twitter mention about Fresno State before they filled that OC job. Heard chatter about 2J and Washington. Haven’t heard a peep about any of the defensive staff.

After some quick reading, seems like he hasn’t necessarily done too much in terms of OC duties, but he is known to be a good recruiter with major connections throughout the Carolinas and has overseen a bunch of RBs with big-time production.
That kind of makes me think Elliott is going to retain play-calling duties while this guy helps him recruit talent (Elliott has traditionally done good work in FL and GA, so this guy adds NC and SC) and establish a running game, then maybe overtime more play-calling gets transferred to him. But that’s just a shot in the dark guess.

Ugh, Noah Taylor going to UNC. I mean, good luck to him and all, but I really don’t enjoy in-conference transfers, especially when it’s in-division.

Taylor was good for a bit for us, but was never the same after his injuries. Don’t know how he’d fit in on a 4-3 if that’s what we end up running. Wishing him well except against us.
