I really liked Bond and so wanted him to star here. But Iām not holding my breath on him transferring back even though he loved it here the first time and made a tough choice to leave. I donāt know what exactly he loved, but what would he be coming back to? His old coaches and teammates are almost all gone. Maybe he made friends with non-athletes or he really liked some of his professors or classes.

VCU fan in the discord is saying he thinks Odom would be able to get Lawal. Said reasons for leaving had nothing to do with their relationship (VT ponied up more money if you can believe it). A VT transfer would be hard to stomach

Who do you like better? Hand shot it a little better from 3 but Lil Peja more of a shot creator and inside-the-arc presence.
Young Peja has an NBA bag. Some DeAndre Hunter like moves which I didnt expect at all watching him at the ACC tournament (I missed our game vs Cal/fell asleep lol).
Hand Jr is mostly catch and shoot. But he shows some bully ball and physicality that has had me say āThis probably what Tony wanted when he recruited Trevor Keelsā.

I have one specific wishlist item:
I want a cartoonish mascot guy we can build around. Like that dude with the goggles from Indiana State, or Norchad Omier from Miamiās F4 run, or that chonker from NC State last year (Burns?) Et cetera.
Give me a crazy-looking guy with a long beard, or a dude who wears old school elbow and knee pads, throwback headband-afro dude, fat point guard, 7-6 freak, something. Just something visually interesting thatāll stand out and quickly return us to notoriety.
Iām being serious.

Rowan Brumbaugh and Kaleb Banks fit really well with what Odom wants. Also lol at the georgetown fans wanting him to transfer back
I think his last game vs Memphis in the aac semi made me feel comfortable with him as a pg starter candidate
