Jennings isnāt redshirting. If he comes to UVA, heās competing to backup at the 2.
Add Sharma as another wing backup option, I think heās as likely to step up to a rotation role as anyone else.

Kareem Stagg grew up a UVA fan going off social media. Swinton has UVA family. Jennings Jrās family are all high level educators who are all about UVA. Leverage that into program building

Cmon man. I know youāre just spitballing but we gotta keep it at least a little realistic lol. All three of those guys arenāt gonna leave their current situations to come here and redshirt for a season, this isnāt 2015.
Maybe one under the right circumstances, but weāre already probably bringing in Barksdale who would be our most realistic redshirt candidate. If Jennings and Stagg come here itās because theyāre gonna be part of our rotation in some capacity.

Why can Louisville bring in top portal players to buy into bench roles along with their stud high school kid?
With $$$$ these arenāt fever dreams; itās the current reality at many top schools. And the kids I listed (Swinton Stagg and Jennings Jr) are all raw unproven underclassmen, nowhere near the caliber of kids top programs are also redshirting and bringing off the bench.
If we have $8-9 million then the money is there to incentive buy in.
