UW was always good about keeping the Seattle kids local under Romar, but Hopkins didnāt or couldnāt continue that. Couldāve been the zone defense or the losing or he couldnāt establish local relationships fast enough. Banchero going to Duke left a scar on that program. A double legacy (plus aunts and uncles I think) who grew up a UW fan.

I bet we look at Ryan Cornish from Dartmouth. Maryland kid, all Ivy League, followed by Bryce Crawford. Kind of a Rohde replacement. He probably wonāt be a top priority but imagine weāll talk to him. Definitely would have concerns about defense/athleticism.

Maybe Iām just petty but Iād boo the crap out of iMac if he came back to play us at Louisville or UNC. Like cāmon man. I get this is more the norm now but you stick it out for 3 years and then dip to a rival? Would not go over well

I think that competition actually has me more hopeful.
Hubert Davis is not a good coach despite the brand.
