I think Im okay with the overpay because

  1. We aren’t going to have close to $8 million worth of player talent on next year’s roster even with the budget

  2. Emotional factor and winning over fans right away and keeping everyone engaged in the new era of college sports making it hard for fandoms to follow

  3. He shoots 3s. Odom has been top 30 in 3pt attempts. Match made in heaven.

Kelsey also has to replace most of that roster. 6 of the 8 guys that played vs Creighton are gone. Impressive year, but he beat up on an awful ACC with a bunch of 5th and 6th year seniors.

Could be someone we look at with Matt Henry’s French connections.

Joined midseason and redshirted and then bounced (most likely to Washington being Ass and also probably maybe trying to over recruit him)

Good sizne and bounce with 4 years left to back up Saunders.

A family friend of ours is high up in the French department at UVA and even served as sort of a Liason/counselor for Mamadi Diakite. Would be cool, if we go the French route in the future, to connect those players with him

I want to say its this guy LOL but could be wrong (my parents, not me, knew him and my “aunt” who also knows him and Mamadi. He might be retired. ).
