Had a really solid game today and hell we could play him at the 4 beside Anthony Robinson at the 5 and have size while still playing 4 out like Odom wants. VCU played em twice so Im sure Odom is familiar with him.

Odom seems pretty open to personnel flexibility, which I like.
His last year at Utah State (22-23) he played Taylor Funk at the 4 listed at 6’9” shot 37% from deep on 8 attempts per. Stretch 4.
This year he’s got three 6’10” and one 6’8” dudes he plays 4-5 there and none of them are shooters except Jack Clark takes about 4 per game at 33% so… opting for more size and athleticism than shooting at his forward slots.
This is where I could see it making a large difference how long VCU lasts in tournament. If they go into the second weekend, it could create more uncertainly which draws more guys to the the portal.
With Neptune gone from Nova, does Matthew Hodge go on the list? Or is he more likely to join his pops at ODU? Tyler Perkins had a solid season too; ended up actually the better DMV guard transfer from the Ivy compared to Mack.

Same. There’s really no downside to entering the portal for these guys. Even if they are inclined to stay, they can test the waters and potentially increase their NIL leverage with UVA.
