Have they found a full workaround yet for non American citizens getting NIL? He’s from Toronto so not sure what nil looks like for him
Supposedly they can get paid in a 3rd party country. So put him up in a hotel in the Caribbean?

NIL overseas isn’t the problem, schools have cracked the code on that.
The revenue sharing is the next challenge, hard to see how that works without someone at the Federal level changing the rules, either for what the F-1 visa permits, or for letting them use a different visa (O-1 is what the pros use).
