I offered this option months ago - didnât receive a great response. Normally against bringing back alums cause if doesnât work the parting can be painful (see Jeff Jones) but I this could be a home run.

I thought I made an accurate observation.
Love Dawn like a family member but she does not need UVa or mens basketball. She sits at the of the hear of the table of an exploding sport and has built a dynasty. There is no reason to walk away.

Went to bed sad. Woke up this morning still sad. In the context of, yesâ itâs just college sports etc.â I feel like Iâve lost something very special in my life.
Rooting for Bennettâs hoops program has been by far the most gratifying sports fan experience Iâve had, and a great boon to the cold winter months. I actually hadnât realized it had really been 15 years already. Wow. Guess I was taking it for granted that I could continue looking forward to that as the calendar turns.
Hope all is well with him and his family. It will be very challenging for anyone to replicate close to his level of success, and that is a tough blow to bear right before a new season.

Still pretty pissed this morning. Going from a full summer of recruiting and preparation, attending ACC media days, talking with boosters the day before ⌠and then giving the team and fan base less than 24 hours before you leave the program. Itâs kind of BS honestly. He didnât have to go full Coach-K retirement circus ⌠but he didnât have to blindside the program either. Why does this have to be so weird?
