Is Kentucky or any other school gonna let a new student enroll in late October 2 months into the semester? I mean I guess if anyone did, it would be Kentucky, but I seriously doubt it.

I think you can be eligible the day after first semester ends, so more like mid-Dec. (Iām not sure.)
But either way, I agree with posters above that no one who thinks heās in the rotation will leave.
I think a kid can start practicing and playing as soon as the first semester ends, not sure how exam period is treated. But on the other hand, theyād be joining a team after roles and rotations have been established and canāt even practice with them until December. And thatās assuming they have scholarship room and NIL budget.
I donāt think anyoneās gonna try to transfer and play this year, but I can see guys contemplating transferring and taking a redshirt year if they still have one.

To the point of Tony going to a lower division team - maybe? But would he be fine with coaching up players to have D1 schools raid his roster every year? Maybe he would be - could view that as his mission to launch hidden gems of 5 Pillar character? Dunno how that cuts.

Many of us woulda been 1) pissed to see Sanchez as the successor and 2) frantic due to roster turnover had all of this happened in April.
I like scapegoating Carla as much as the rest of us - remember she also ran off Bronco due to staff loyalty (allegedly) - but if this narrative is true for Tony (allegedly it is not), then I think she was right to hold firm.

If what being discussed about Tony & Carla is true, Iām kinda on the Carla side hereā¦but at the same time, canāt hold it against Tony for wanting to give his guy a shot.
Having 24 hours to process things, this might be the best situation. Give Ron a year with a good/talented roster to see if heās got the goods against a solid but not especially brutal schedule. If not, start a search after the season. Might not be exactly how Tony wanted things to unfold, but feel like itās fair.
