Would be wild and probably unprecedented if March rolled around and Williams/boosters decided that Sanchez wasnāt the guy, but JWilly was going to be the hire instead.

All i saw from Zach is that TB asked Carla to ensure Jay would be the next coach. She said no. Ron comes back. TB leaves and Carla makes Ron the interim

@DFresh11 on the pod, Norlander seemed to imply that the second part of that tweet (Tony asked for J-Willy to be be coach in waiting) was old reporting, not from that convo.

Itās an interesting dilemma in a way for ACC coaches. Theyāre probably glad on the one hand to have a better chance at conference championships.
On the other hand, itās clear that the conference needs all the help it can get to stay relevant nationally.
