Do we even know if Dai Dai to the Hoos is confirmed yet?

Literally was typing the same thing. Lots of back and forth about the kid, and not a single sight is sending up even smoke signals yet.

Was just wondering what the public timeline was going to be.

Are we forgetting how bad a shooting team we had last year. It gets depressing seeing all them shots clang off the rim. I’m pulling for Ames but I am a little worried about it. I hope I’m wrong but he doesn’t seem like he’s a Tony Bennett player

Virginia was a fine 3 point shooting team on the season but a terrible 2 point shooting team

It’s skewed because basically all of our 3 point shooting came from 2 1/2 players: McKneely, Groves, and Murray (the ā€œhalfā€ since he was only in the regular rotation like half the time). I mean, credit to those guys for hitting at 40%+ clips despite their teammates creating so little space for them. But Reece was serviceable at best, and Harris, Bond, Gertrude, Dunn, and Rohde (all of whom should be considered perimeter players offensively capable of providing at least a baseline of 34%+) failed us miserably. So yeah, the overall percentage was good, but the balance was terrible, and our 3PA/FGA ratio was one of the lowest in the country for a reason, so we couldn’t actually exploit it.

I’d prefer Dunkai Dunkai…

I wouldn’t doubt that it would, we seem to have some of the worst insiders when it come to predictions it seems to drag out then excuses follow,PROBABLY waiting to clear admissions. But I for one love Ames game and think people going to be smiling ear to ear if we get him. Warley and him can break down defenses with their penatration and Power and Mac along with Saunders with outside shooting. Perfect balance for a good offense, plus Ames can shoot from outside.

Smoke was that it was done yesterday. It’s been less than 24 hours. Why are we now saying this might not happen? lol.

Nothing personal, but coming regularly to a site whose appeal rests largely on insider info to call out the insiders is a bit of head scratcher for me
