Mark predicted this on one of the pods recently. Rumblings that Cuse could lose a lot of transfers. Think he called them all so far too.

That and all the transfers off a Colorado team that just made a nice run in the tournament are kind of crazy. Wonder how many will come back from the portal.

And the Cuse men’s losses are peanuts compared to their women’s team which has 8 players in the portal and a 9th going pro.

Man, has Syracuse’s recruiting success to date just been attributable them like tricking recruits into not realizing where Syracuse was located by just saying “It’s in New York” and then just counting on them not being willing to leave cause they’d have to sit out?

I lived in Maine (admittedly, southern coastal Maine) for several years and while its very cold, Syracuse probably gets more snow and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was colder.

Edit - I’ve been there, briefly, during the Spring. It didn’t seem super nice.

Yeah, on the coast temperature usually isn’t too bad. I actually like the winters, it’s March and April that are terrible. Cold mud season.

Wouldn’t read into Colorado’s transfers at all. They are all seniors and their HC said he wanted them all to move on to allow for playing time for their next generation.
