haha I did the math on this one. I don’t think Virginia is the most likely for any of them but they’re close enough that the odds are pretty strong in favor of one.

I remember when that same math pertained to Quinerly and a few other top point guards. We struck out on all three. We ended up with Kehei. What has he ever done for us?

I was talking to a friend of mine tonight after the final 3 were announced. He hears thing from time to time recruiting wise. I asked what he thought and he responded “From what I know, not sure Keels can say no to Bennett.” Sounds like TB has done a great job with he and his family.

@Papihoo can you imagine saying no to K? Not because I like him, because I don’t but if you went that far down the path with K that would be a really hard conversation to have.
As much as they slowed played him after the offer, I don’t think it would be hard to say no to K. And knowing he probably is at least a 2 year player, Coach K will be looking to bring in someone else the minute the ink is dry in his LOI.

Would a Murray commitment be a bad sign with Keels? I understand that Murray doesn’t preclude Keels from committing from a talent standing. But if Murray is searching for info about Keels and feels comfortable enough to commit, that would seem to indicate that he feels confident about Keels not coming
unless he is also okay with teaming up with Keels

He and Express are two I watch to see their reaction. They usually have a good pulse of what is happening from UVa’s side when it comes to the Sabre. I take it as a positive sign CZAR is going with the over.

yeah he’s great. I think it’s less “we are deinitely getting one who already silent committed” and moreso “Staff feel very positive about both recruitments so we should hopefully get at least one”.
