UMass is very young. They have seven freshmen. Of their six with a double digit scoring average, four are freshman and one is a sophomore. Good future ahead if they can keep those guys together.
Being the in-house recruiting nerd, there are a couple familiar names. Freshman big man Tre Mitchell was a huge steal for them. He had a bunch of high major offers. Sophomore wing Simba Diallo was a nice get too. UVA evaluated them both.

Yeah. Won’t see Mamadi for a while. Not to be overly confident but I don’t think this game will be that tight. Might be a good thing in the long run. Extra rest and some work for the other guys. Is Kody back? didn’t see anything about that.

Losing Mamadi was huge. He is the guy to guard Mitchell. First 5 minutes of the second half will be key.
