I’ve been very, almost overly optimistic about this cycle but shades of 2018 are creeping into my brain. There was a time I was confident we’d get Quinerly and K Johnson.
The lack of other big man offers still tells me CTB feels confident and whee things stand w Reid.
Yes, It almost seems like being in the lead for top recruits who are going to take their time making a decision can sometimes be a handicap. Everyone is gonna take shots at you.
On another topic how many visits is he going to take? He just kept rattling of schools
UVA people are extremely confident about Reid. Actions match that 100% so far. People on the outside that know him think it’s wide open just as he presents it. Truth is usually somewhere between. He’s enjoying it right now, nothing wrong with that. The season ending early and everything cancelled, we lose sight of just how early it still is. 2nd live period would be going on right now.
Bingo. They don’t have to win right now, only keep UVA from winning. So far at least this seems to be the one our side intends to go the distance with if they have to.
After watching the Jack Herron interview of Efton Reid, that young man is very truly staying humble. It was a pleasure to listen to him. It is refreshing and I am liking him no matter the outcome.
Man, I’m glad y’all are still encouraged about our standing after that interview. Am I mistaken, or did he not mention us at all?
That didn’t make me feel good about where we stand at all lol though, I admittedly have absolutely no inside info at all.
I love how people assuming that you’ll pick UVA annoys recruits but people assuming the cream of the crop will opt for the meat markets that duke or Kentucky are is worn like a badge of honor. Something to brag about.
The thing I love about Bryson is his heart. He is not afraid tu compete. This was going tu be a big summer for him. He is a kid that could use a coach like TB. I just dont think we have room for him.
Jeez - love this kid’s film. Not sure about the competition, but he has a motor, nice ups and hands, size at 6’9" and quite the stroke. I’d move some chips in on him and not worry about Holmes.
I think it’s freedom in playing style, less focus on defense, more of an open offense for Efton to thrive and display his talents than Virginia’s more systematic offensive approach
