like that dunk without a Hoo in the lane
I am not having fun.
I like how Taine got pulled for a return to the starting lineup which has played like ass all game
Playing the starters down 19 with 6:30 left. Tony has made this year absolute misery to follow.
God forbid Kihei take one minute to catch his breath. Not sure what we’d do without his play in this one
I don’t get it. Tony is great, the best. How are we here?
This feels a lot like the Houston game where we’re just completely outmatched physically. It makes sense in retrospect looking at this NC State team. I still think that we had a chance if we don’t have those turnovers and breakaway points when up 6 late in the half.
Because we recruited like absolute trash for like five years. Our roster is just not good. Almost everyone is undersized, or if not undersized, un-athletic. We have almost no reliable elite three-point shooting that plays. We’re playing two PGs, neither of whom is meant to be a 2 guard. Just the whole roster is wrong, and we’ve kept trying to patch it with transfers because we have completely failed to land high-level recruits who panned out.
Anyway. Maybe the future will be better.
That doesnt explain it for me. Teams with less have done more i.e Ohio.
Welp, glad I saved a few episodes of Ozark last night. click
State has so much more talent than we do
I just started season 3 of Succession, so I’m excited to watch that later and forget this game and season ever happened
Is it recruiting misses? Lack of development? We’re we just incredibly lucky those first few years?
I’m watching Cocomelon right now and it’s better than this garbage.
Ohio was not good last year. We just sucked. That team was thoroughly mediocre. We got out-coached and our team had no leadership. (plus COVID, of course, but we still should have won that game - they were not good)
You always say that
Yeah I agree. That’s why recruiting misses doesnt explain it for me.
NC State is just playing way above their talent level. Sometimes that just happens. Look at their record, they are not typically this good.
Lucky? First few years? Lol, we were a number one or two seed in 5 of 6 years. What the fuck is going on here?
This is all painfully true. Optimistic view if you want to take it is that Tony seems to have realized this with regard to roster construction and we’ve recruited a really strong class that if it adds London has all the pieces to round out a really good roster.
Lot riding on this incoming class because the Igor and Taine is not looking promising. At least Shed has looked impressive last couple of games and Reece is looking like a star in the making.
