Come out of the half actually hunting shots from the perimeter and just see what happens. If we get blown out, fuck it at least we tried something different. So tired of seeing stat lines where weāre shooting like 30% from 2 and have taken 5 or less 3ās in a half, it would be one thing if youāre working to get good looks inside but weāre settling so goddamn much in the mid range. Itās not the early 2000ās anymore man, PLAY THE PERCENTAGES and work inside-out or outside-in.

Iām sorry but our play has fallen off starting with the FSU game. The frustration with the fouls masked it but we started having issues then
I think whatās driving it is the difference between the past games of shitting the bed and, in a crucial game for our resume of making the ncaa tourney, scoring only 14 points in a half and being down 22 points at half time to a long hated rival who isnāt very good this year. I would be lying if the āTony might be washed/Im not excited about the future with our roster for next yearā hadnāt crossed my mind. But I think Im doing a good job with restraintā¦ maybe LOL.

This game is already over. We look completely confused and disinterested. As usual VT is playing out of their mind. Hokiesā problem is they only care about beating Duke and U.Va., and mail it in most other games.
This is also when Tony drives me nuts. The more we fall behind, the more guys who canāt score get floor time, supposedly because of their great D. Right now our defense is a total sieve, and our offense is non-existent, so it really doesnāt matter.
I guess Wake took it out of the guys.

i think there needs to be more criticism of our dogshit defense that half, as much or more to an our offense. Not seeing much of that here. That was awful.

We are screwed bc we donāt have a single assistant on staff right now who is P5-level potential. That is our number one issue.
I think we played well @ FSU; refs were another level of dogshit. Pitt shot out of their minds. We missed a lot of open looks vs. WF, not to mention the FTsāshouldāve won easily. A fade/collapse is entirely possible but Iām not there (and wonāt be unless/until we lose @ BC).

Still think we could have done WAY better than Dante Harris, even with no straight NIL bags.
I woulda taken true freshman Bliss or Chance Mallory right now over Dante. Not even an exaggeration.
Rohde also really disappointing me heavily.
