Great win for Coach Elliott and company. Defense was dominant today, got a ton of pressure on UL’s QB and shut down their offense save for one field goal. Our offense did its job, Colandrea managed the clock and did enough to get three TD’s on the board. And no turnovers! Overall a great win and one that gives us momentum going into next week as we try to get bowl eligible.

…Oh wait this was a baseball game, I almost forgot. Yeah that was a good ol’ fashioned ass whooping.

I’m such an idiot. I tuned out after the 8th, thinking the game was over. I missed 10 runs!

It’s ok, Louisville tuned out a couple innings before you did.

TBD on whether or not there’ll be PBP from me tomorrow. Have to go into work for at least a little while, gonna depend on how long.

The team seems a little too pleased with themselves if you ask me. Shit, the basketball team got to 14 points in only half a game.

Safe to say this will be Jaxel’s last weekend start

Enough with the Jaxel-in-the-rotation experiment. He is truly terrible.

5-0 UL after 1.

I defended the staff’s decision to start Jaxel last weekend after stringing together a couple of solid starts, can’t defend this one though. He’s gotta get moved out of there, just no confidence the past two weeks on the mound.

The question becomes who can we trust for Saturday and Sunday? The O’Connor injury has really left us in a hole.

I think you try Coady in one of the spots given his general success this year and experience as a starter at Penn, but for the other one I’m not sure. Maybe Savino but we haven’t seen him since his 1 inning of work against ODU, maybe Augustin but we haven’t seen him get extended past an inning or two, or maybe you just embrace that Sundays are staff days and try to manufacture outs in any way you can.

7-0 UL after 2. Not able to watch currently so updates will be sporadic from me.

Does Brian O’Connor have a COVID year? Asking for a friend.

Would ask the same thing for Dickinson too, surely he could give us a couple innings at least lol.
