I have no idea of how the minutes will be distributed. However, I’ve been watching last season’s games lately, and, increasingly, I have been impressed with Armaad Franklin’s play. He could score from all three levels, he rebounded, he played defense (and blocked a lot shots for someone listed as 6’5"). He could create his own shot, and he could shoot off the dribble. He was unselfish with the ball, and mixed it up underneath for rebounds. Judging by comments here, and elsewhere, or actually, the lack of comments, I suspect he might have been a bit undervalued by a lot of Virginia’s fans. I also wonder how his production is going to be replaced. I am unsure that there is any one, single individual who can do it all now. Going forward, it seems to me that both Bond and/or Gertrude might be that player, I think that there is the potential for either of them to do it, but how long away it will be before that potential is realized, if it is realized, is something I do not know. I have a feeling that, in the short term, UVa is going to miss him.

Very upsetting. He was a legend and as someone with parents getting into their 70s it’s a stern reminder that time is precious.

I know it’s a hot take but like cmon have you ever heard Tony talk?? Not much “molding men” going on in the NBA. If he wanted to go to the NBA he would’ve done it a long time ago
He also called the NBA “cookie-cutter” at media day. He’s not retiring anytime soon IMO and he is not going to NBA.
