You knowā¦ even that didnāt bother me in itselfā¦. What bothered me was they motioned, saw a zone set, and STILL did that. That was an indictment on everyone from Bronco to Bob to Brennan. Bryce Perkins would NEVER.

Man thatās true.
For me it came that season when they ran the aforementioned gimmick play from their own endzone in a game they had a commanding lead and then it completely blew up in their face.
The explanation was āIt was an accidentā and there too no one thought maybe we should check out maybe call a TOā¦ anything

You know what I remember most about Johns? His freshman year being forced into action against UCLA and making big plays downfield while also making a few mistakesā¦ we lost the game but I left Scott thinking man, weāve got a good one.
Matt had an OK career, but I look back on it the same way Iām kind of viewing AC nowā¦ donāt force the action if you donāt have to. Let him get his time when heās fully ready.
