Interesting! I like both guys. I thought both had their moments last season. For the long term AC may be the better choice but I would have been good both ways.
Iām not expecting huge things this season. The recruiting seems to be picking up some but to sustain it we need a bowl very badly. Not sure I expect one though.

Iāve watched Gameday Weekly for over 20 years and I realized today McAfee ruins that experience for me. Similar to our Kevin Hart discussion in another thread, the act has grown stale.

not sure they will though only because the schedule is so easy. Last year they didnāt beat anyone good but theyāre getting a lot of love because they whooped bad teams and this yearās schedule is littered with those. Do I think VT is a playoff team? Hell no, but things lined up pretty nicely for them this year
But damn it would be hilarious if they lost one to like Vandy that no one saw coming. I love when VT has expectations. Always ends in heartbreak

They will find a way. ACC may be down but they are consistently overrated.
They lost to Marshall, Rutgers and Purdue last year. Struggled out of the gate against ODU if I recall.

I like the way the schedule sets up for the Hoos. If we are going to surprise a team or two the timing of the bye weeks is perfect.

Also maybe this is just me being cranky, but thereās a certain smarminess in CFB and they address it as if itās super sad to see, as if they(or their employer) isnāt the problem. It just comes across as disingenuous to me.
Agree about the watch ability. Itās a past time for me, so I try every year to watch it, but I just canāt. Just feels like they have an agenda and biases they donāt even try to hide. Maybe Iām wrong, but feel like this has become more of a problem throughout realignment. Before that they seemed more genuine and fun.
