Man I forgot he got his start at LSU. That seems like a lifetime ago. Given his performance this past season heāll fit right in with the just good enough not to be avg. QB play UNC has come to expect.

I actually like Maye more than those guys. I think he will be a better pro and Iām not convinced Howell isnāt at least a solid NFL starter going forward.
Maye fell down in my eyes watching him this year. Which is crazy because his stats werenāt bad, they just werenāt as eye popping as they were the previous season. Looking over his stats he threw a lot less picks than I recalled seeing this season. For some reason I remember him being a bit turnover prone this year, but the numbers are not showing that 9ints not college elite but far from bad.
The more insane part is they donāt sniff what Howell accomplished, granted he technically had a full 1st year.
But thatās all the digital ink Iām wasting on a Carolina QB. If you want a break down and comparison of them go find a UNC board.
Howell was a 5th rounder. Him starting a full season already exceeds all expectations of that draft slot.
