Does that make Jimbo their Albert haynesworth
Well played sir.
Well guess that could happen to your team with the portal too
Kelly green? Like some moss growing on the Blarney Stone?
Noah Kim was a one time VT commit. Not sure who broke it off with whom, but heās from Nova.
Maybe he finds his level at a G5 or FCS program or decides to be a depth piece at a P5 school.
Feel really good about Kam and Ac returningā¦
I remember Kim on the radar then lost track. Honestly for the way MSU has gone is the reason Iām ok with the portal
Winning or losing the portal this off season is pretty much whatās going to decided Elliottās future, IMO.
Day two of the Wild West.
An obvious one here. Has a high ceiling, would imagine a good amount of suitors.

No idea where heās gonna end up. First thought would be Sparty but his dad was apparently pissed with Smith for leaving so who knows. Had a pretty good year at Oregon St. though, top 20 in the country in QBR.

Also wanna add that Kam Robinson has been actively recruiting guys entering the portal on Twitter. Really good to see him so involved within our program and itās a positive sign that heās likely staying here. These are the guys heās replied to so far:
- Chris Tyree, WR from Notre Dame
- Tamarcus Cooley, DB from Maryland
- Buddy Mack III, DB from Pitt
- Durrell Robinson, RB from Charlotte
- Tyson McWilliams, DB from Cal
Is he going to run into eligibility issues transferring? Since heās already transferred once
Not disagree at all. But I think the next/adjacent question is what quantifies winning the portal? Number of transfers? Washington could be considered the biggest transfer get of last season certainly the best WR but what did that really do?
How does he still have eligibility. I think he was pretty pissed at Smith about leaving. I thought he made some side remarks
Isnāt it okay to transfer again if your coach leaves? I thought that was the exception.
Will also add that apparently DJU is considering the draft as well. Viewed as a late round pick currently.
I believe youāre right
Interesting wrinkle with DJU he signed a national NIL deal with Dr Pepper ahead of his 1st yr. I wonder how much of that he was paid and having that sort of money in his pockets affects his decision
Thatās a legitimate question and hard to quantify in advance. Did we keep our promising young players from being poached? Did we fill gaps with legitimate P5 talent? When the dust settles, do we have a better team than we did last season?
