A few weeks ago I wouldāve said that the best thing about getting a younger guy like Greene was that he couldnāt transfer again without sitting out, but the courts said no to that for now.
Iām hoping he feels like he got enough money from Carolina for coming there that heās happy to look for development opportunities with us, playing closer to home so his friends and family can come watch him actually play and resists the urge to chase more money for at least a couple seasons (unless itās for the NFL).

Kids gonna be a great weapon. Good at getting big and going up to make a play. A massive assefor AC not having to be pin point accurate

So, are all you guys convinced AC will be our starter game 1 next year? He is fun to watch and has guts and some gifts but Muskett has some too. Muskett never really got a good chance to show what he has. He is not immobile, but not as good as AC behind a porous line.
I think it will be a strong competition and to date, Muskett has won that.

I think AC gives the team a higher ceiling and brings some excitement. Agree that Muskett is also a quality player. Wonder if he will be content as QB2.

Great question. I know AC is the fan favorite but what little success the team had was with Muskett at the helm. Iām not sure the Hoos beat that version of UNC with AC starting. Thereās a lot of factors that will go in to the decision for the fall.
CTE and staff will likely be coaching for their jobs or at least on a very warm seat so wins will be at a premium. That being said the CTE will go with the QB who can win now and win consistently. AC is very close to the level but will need to take a step up over the summer. The improvement will have to show through.

Still gonna need another QB unless weāre going with Brosterhaus as QB3. I read that Minterās converting to safety.
Both Colandrea and Muskett will play next season. No way both stay healthy the entire season.

Also very true. Itās becoming a standard that almost every team needs to have a 1 and a 1B option at QB.

Tangent - I grew up in western Chesterfield in the 80s and 90s and based on my childhood recollection of the reputation of Colonial Heights back then, Iām astounded that these guys are from Colonial Heights.

You mean Colonial Whites? Very well-deserved reputation once upon a time, going back to Massive Resistance to desegregation in the 60s, but donāt think itās really been the case since the 80s or maybe 90s. My granddad got a job there after he got out of the military in the 70s and had some stories to tell.

My dad used to work in Petersburg and I remember one day he was telling my mom about the gossip at work which was about a Klan rally in Colonial Heights.
