Why assume Minor and Dunn?
If minor and Dunn and Reece?
Then Murray and IMac
If Groves and one of
minor or Buchanan or Dunn? Then Murray and Gertrude with Reece.

At least you were honest with your vote

I assumed Minor and Dunn because that’s the frontcourt pairing that has gotten the majority of the possessions starting with the WF game, except for this most recent Louisville game when we were in foul trouble scramble mode.

Gertrude should play all minutes that Groves does. That could
Solve a lot.

Would you rather:

  • Lose to ND by 3 and beat UNC by 2?
  • Beat ND by 15 and lose to UNC by 2?

I want the top 5 win lol

Just hit me. I was expecting more of a Cormac Ryan type of player with Rodhe. May actually be a good comparison

I feel like not losing to ND is the only option….losing to ND at home would be the dagger for our season imo.

I understand wanting the UNC win, but we could beat Duke in Cameron and that would debatably be as good of a win.

Cormac is a catch and shoot, run off the screen guy. Rohde played a lot last year with the ball in his hands. Also 5th years vs 2nd year.

But also Cormac experience in ACC and much quicker.

Look at his second year numbers.

I mean minutes and production wise not style soooo much. Cormac is always agressive etc

I rewatched the Rohde St. Thomas highlights and one thing that stuck out:

.75 ppp on spot up shooting (which is predominantly what he has been doing here)

1.26 on dribble handoffs (which we have shown flashes of, heck DHO is how Rohde set up that sick Dunn pass vs Louisville).

What makes me optimistic, on top of further chemistry and momentum and roles being clearer, is that Minor and Buchanan playing more means we can experiment more with DHO.

edit: It was just a dunn hand off, not a dribble hand off.

Next season with Reece (back for 5th year) McKneely (more of a playmaker) and Rohde (slight mechanical fix) all having chemistry with eachother and then Buchanan more mature and physical and Maliq Brown at the 4 running this offense below = my happy place

95% sure that @Hooandtrue and @StLouHoo are blood relatives of the Rohde family. Kidding! Sort of….

Our forensic team is at work with Ancestry.com and will be requesting some samples/swabs from you both.

LOL.

I think its less professing my love and more being like “Oh people are asking why” this is why.

Its like saying “the real reason @DFresh11 and @chavlicek15 hate on Rohde is because they probablty think they were better than him/struggle with a kid from a “mid major” playing a lot for us. And also dfresh just being very attached to Gertrude, who Rohde is a threat to playing time wise.”

You guys are the ones constantly bringing it up/someone’s gotta bring it up on why Tony’s playing them LOL

I mean it’s not hard to see that him “shooting better” would benefit our offense. Maybe that helps him tap into the aggression? I’m not getting my hopes up for this year so an uptick in shooting is our best bet for team improvement at the 3 since we all know he’s going to play a lot

Yes

Tell your boy to hit an open 3 and Rohde will play less LOL

I mean… you arent gonna talk about making open threes in that compare are you?

Also I know and hope you are joking. We good

Im not joking. The NFL is clearly rigged with the Chiefs bullshit so Im taking it out on this discussion.

One of the two has taken like 70 threes. Whats that players percent on “open threes”. Out of 70 man

Edit: i know it gets old to talk about early 90s so I will talk late 80s here. I was the PG on my HS team and we were very very good. I played almost every minute of every game. If I shot 70 threes and didnt make many in High School my coach may have played me less
