Absolutely agree. Beat Duke or unc for the acc title is worth more than one win over a Florida caliber team.

Yeah thatās insane. Itās not seeing the forest for the trees stuff. No one remembers winning a first round game in 10 years, unless itās a mid major. Making it through the first weekend is cool but still doesnāt compare with winning an ACC Tournament. Look at the VT fansā¦thatās their highlight forever. Not winning a couple NCAA games with Buzz.

Iām voting to actually win a game in the tourney. We have been such sad sacks when it comes to the NCAAs since 2019. Getting past what seems a psychological hurdle is a higher priority to me right now.

I think for usā¦since weāve won the ACCT 2x under Tonyā¦a S16 would be a bigger deal right now given our recent tourney struggles. But man that first ACCT win is an all time sports moment for me. Will never forget.
One NCAAT would be pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things imo but would be a nice weight off the shoulders

Their highlight was being happy with whatever team won their Sweet Sixteen game in 2019. And all those titles their favorite basketball team(s) won with K or Dean/Roy at the helm.

I voted to win a game in the NCAA tournament but if we win the ACC tournament this year it means playing a lot tougher teams than it takes to get to the round of 32 in the NCAA. Now, Iām not so sure.

Tonyās systems create significant mental pressure for new players in our program ā¦ very very hard for players to find the right balance when they are drilled and pulled on the value of each possession. Especially if they have doubts coming up from a lower level. I donāt see it with Eli at all but Rohde/Morsell/Harris/Hall (first 3 seasons) ā¦ struggle bus depot.

Harris never proved anything imo. I donāt see the fit but for the others I think theyāre right where they belong

I voted for winning an NCAAT game. If we won the ACCT and lost in first round of the NCAAT, it would make the ACC look REALLY BAD, not just us.
