What a weird year. Shout out to LRA through all of it. I havenât been able to find a community quite like this for any of my other favorite teams; Iâm grateful to discuss with you all through the highs and lows. Looking forward to portal season!

Weâre gonna rightfully get hammered on social media tonight, obviously for us who gives a shit but it does impact your programâs perception and thus recruiting. Prospects and transfers take notice of this type of stuff even if itâs minimal.
But regardless of that this is the first time in a long time with this program where Iâm genuinely wondering where we even go? When last yearâs offseason started there was at least the hope of seeing some new players get opportunities, but weâve now seen what they can/canât do and we also know what weâre about to lose. Reece carried this team for large portions of this season and right now on paper heâs about to hand the keys off to either a redshirt freshman guard coming off a significant foot injury or Dante goddamn Harris. That is really scary.

Personally, I canât think of a better time to get an offensive coordinator. We cannot keep running blocker mover in the year 2025

I know Bennett is going to take a beating and I think at points he deserves it. The inability to even consider change on the offense, whether its system or personnel, since the title year has been a flagrant misstep.
But this team was rolling after FSU. 80 points, IMac going off, Reece looking like a leader. That was a little over a month ago. Things donât fall apart just like that, itâs a complete avalanche cascading to a thundering crash.
Players bear a lot of responsibility. Whether he knows it or not, IMac cannot look as defeated as he did tonight when shots werenât falling. Reece canât look as rigid as he was. Theyâre your leaders, the team goes as you go!
But ultimately this falls on TBâs shoulders. You put this team together, you knew the issues with rebounding, shot creation, and the intangibles. And frankly the last of those three is what concerns me, there was almost no one that looked like the dog that would tell everyone how itâs going to be.
The worst part about tonight is I donât know what happens next. Last year with Kihei, Armaan, Kadin, Jayden all gone, it felt like a legit chance for a reset. And to win 23 games is awesome, but it just looks so rocky going forward. I hope Iâm wrong on that.

It was mostly a fun season despite the blowouts.
The team had fatal flaws which were exposed repeatedly, but still finished 3rd in conference, were a banked 3 away from the ACCT final, and got a bid. Thanks to the coaches and players for the work they put in, and for never giving up even though there were lots of chances to.
I feel sorry for the playersâmainly Reeceâwho have to go out this way, and I feel sorry for the coaches who have to get right back to work recruiting our players to stay and hitting the portal for new ones. I look forward to seeing what they come up with and rooting for the team in November.

In the studio postgame they tossed Seth a softball, pointing out that he didnât have Virginia in his brackets, basically asked him to strut about being proven right. To his credit he largely demurred, just said some vanilla stuff.

Whatâs the core? Thatâs my issue for next year. We lose 3 starters and half the rotation. Core = iMac and one of Taine or Rhode plus maybe Blake.
Once Reece came back and RD got draft buzz, this was not a rebuilding year.
