Donât agree with the 2 Tâs on state but Iâll take them. Although, the refs pissing state off might not work out for the Hoos.

32-31 HOOS at the half. Shooting the ball horribly but canât be mad at a lead over the #3 team in the country.

Agree in general, plus I canât recall a ref pulling a player aside and just publicly lecturing them like that.
On the other hand, it came after a stretch of 4 or so questionable calls in a row that all went NCSUâs way so Iâm ok with it.

Sadly, itâs not out of line. As of a few weeks ago, UVA was around 25% from 3 on the season.
Edit - I suspect NCSU wonât shoot 10% from 3 in the second half.

Yeah, weâre not a good shooting team, but we love to take jumpers. The secret so far tonight is NC State is shooting just as badly as we are.

Yeah, 23-8 in Q3 was rough. UVA now 12/50 from the field on the game.
Whatâs sad is this would have been a very winnable game if we werenât ice cold, NCST is shooting 31% from the floor. Mo is 3-17 and pressing way too much.
Mo started the game 2-3 in the first couple minutes, so⌠1-14 since then? Wow.

72-61 NCST, we pressed and made a couple 3âs in the last two minutes to make the score closer than the game.

Caught the last 5ish mins of the game. Stat thay jumped out to me Mo 3-18 from deep. Gonna be tough to win games when your stars shoot like that. Seems like teams are encouraging her to shoot at this point

Once the game was over, suddenly we couldnât miss lol. Ah well, looks better than a 20-point loss.
Looking at the box, the two players I trust most to take threes, Sam and Mo, combined to go 3-18 from behind the arc. The rest of the team was 6-12. Overall 30% from behind the arc isnât surprising for this team but where it came from was.

Yeah, was rough. Also, I believe our 2FG% was even worse than our 3FG%.

Itâs strange being a Virginia basketball fan right at this moment. Itâs like watching 2 extremes when you bounce from men to women.
The men are too controled and methodical on offense while the women could use more controled action.
I gwt a whiplash affect when I watch them back to back

Yes, couldnât agree more. Such a contrast in styles. Careful (but timid) vs fearless (but reckless). And I often finding myself thinking how the other team would handle the same situations, better or worse. As a fan, itâs a lot of fun to follow both of these teams.
