Might I reiterate that in this day and age, high school kids suck lol. That and having them play heavy minutes + the continuity issue that also plagues our mens team.
Im sure Kymora will be a stud next year. But these kids on tik tok and practice finesse moves against cones are experiencing a real wake up call of what real basketball is. (took me calling out my inner boomer to type that)

Hah 100% get it and I know what she is today is hopefully not what she will be 3 yrs from now.
I do think there is a ton to the fact that the publics perception is altered thx to social media and the countless hours of players with trainers in placce of actual game footage.
That said I do watch ND play and wish Johnson looked even a smidge like Hidalgo whoâs had no problem adjusting to college ball.

The bigger issue is the inability to move their feet on defense. Duke either gets to the rack or gets fouled. Lot of reaching

That was discouraging. I managed to get my son to go with me today, which ainât easy, so Iâm at least thankful we kept the outcome technically in doubt right up to the end. (Though I think Duke deserves the credit for keeping it close, with their horrible shooting from three and from the line.)
We talk about the menâs team having no margin for error. The womenâs team has had lots of margin for error in the last two games (especially GT). We just exceed the margin.

Almost went to game today, but its last weekend before daughter #1 heads back to school up north so we spent it packing and such.
I suspect Coach Mox is a little frustrated with how the team has gone so far this year as the teamâs break execution on offense has honestly not been very good so far. Every once in a while it pops for a few possessions and you can see what sheâs trying to do, but most of the time its a 1v3 flail or a TO. The excitement and attendance at the games is still solid, but it would have been nice to win one of the last couple games.
