The best part was that on ACCNX there were no announcers for the entire first quarter. You could hear the stadium noise just fine, the graphics were fine, just no announcers. It was awesome, so much more like being at the game. This should be a standard option.
Also amusing: Midway through the first quarter, a hot mic picked up one of the announcers saying, âWe still canât see the game, by the way. The zoom⌠the zoom is empty, soââ And then at the start of Q2, when the announcers came back and laughed about the âaudio issuesâ, the same guy lied to us: âAudio issues⌠but weâve been here, weâve been watching the gameâŚâ
Mir coming back? Iâll believe when I see clips of her shooting half court shots in practice. (and of course, her being mobbed by her teammates like theyâve never seen such a thing before.)
The womenâs biggest issue is their only speed is high speed⌠so even with a lead they are just winging around not protecting the ball and taking low percentage shots in the first half of the shot clock.
I know coach Moxâs system (is there really a system on offense here?) is fast⌠but there needs to be some âparking brakesâ installed for many situations.
