So I was looking up WNIT projections and found this site that has us solidly in at 14-15. https://omnirankings.com/wcb/Macro/WNIT%20Probabilities.htm
However, I also found out that the NCAA is creating a 32 team WBIT for 2024 and that the privately owned WNIT is changing its format to 48 teams. I have no idea which of the 2 secondary tournaments will be favored by schools, but with 148 postseason spots, thereās no way we should miss out on some sort of postseason play.

I thought you needed a .500 record to qualify for the WNIT? But then, this is also the first Iām hearing about the WBIT, soā¦ yeah I have no longer have any idea what we need to do to qualify for the postseason lol. Or what postseason we want to qualify for. Or how any of this works.

Is the WBIT the womenās game version of the CBI?
The NCAA owns the WBIT, so itās more like the NCAA owned NIT. The WNIT is owned by a third party private company, so thatās probably more like the CBI.
But the WNIT has more history and the NIT name, so maybe schools may prefer it. I have no idea.
