Every time I watch Jennings I’m impressed. Seems like a great offensive rebounder for a guard.
He is a career 40% 3 point shooter but cannot buy a shot today
He’s the kinda player that just keeps shooting regardless of if he’s hot or not. And then eventually shoots himself out of slumps.
VCU has been pretty inefficient so far today: doesn’t even matter. I LOVE how they get so many second and third chance looks because they crash the boards, so aggressive. They play super hard. I would be thrilled to see this kind of effort/scheme change in JPJ.
Love it. Shooters gotta shoot. Maybe we can keep IMac around…
Jennings gives insane glue guy vibes
Feels like Odom is leaning into athleticism more on this team, given the roster. ORs, turnovers, offensive pace. Etc
No I agree, the hope would be that he would be able to recruit players that are athletic AND can shoot here with more resources, instead of or.
These guys are a fun watch! I ruined the vibes by looking at how many of them won’t be able to come with Odom next year.
Bamisile is a former H&T dream recruit but he’s also a very dumb player at times even with his physical gifts. Boneheaded play king at times
I like Jennings Jr a lot.
Again don’t wanna get too far ahead of myself, but I envision Mallory playing a very similar role to what Russell does for VCU.
Hit an open 3 please
Clark has been so damn consistent from 3 during these last 6ish games. Very fun player to watch
I think VCU had more offensive rebounds on that last possession than we had the entirety of the season.
Here at the game- Jennings plays with incredible energy. Also you can tell anyone has the green light to pull up, would love to see what Odom can do with actual shooters lol
Also they try to trap or double any screen, any corner, any move toward the sideline
What’s the seating situation like? I got some GA red tickets for cheap for Sunday and no idea what they mean.
GA tickets were like $25 for lower level after fees
Don’t love Odom’s body language but I’m also used to having a Shao-lin monk for a HC
Fantastic defense on the last possession
