It’s fun typing that up and the entire possible range is 7 to 11. That’s a nice range to have arrived at!

It’s honestly all I wanted from this program. Give me a program that is competitive in every game and has an opportunity to be great.

@zblakey with 7 wins :eyes:

The marble game has us tied for #10 with Georgia. It’s clearly the best approach.

I went from 7-5 with a win over VT or 8-4 as grounds for a successful season to… anything short of 9 wins would be a disappointment. That said, this season has already been a very positive step forward for the program. Keeping the donors happy and establishing some coaching stability in a time when it would be absolutely brutal to be in the coaching market.

Little worried about how we’re trending right now. Injuries are really catching up to us

SP+ has us around -7, KFord around -11. Not loving Vegas’ opinion of us.

I assume a lot of that is questions around Chandler/our offense.

Hoos are 5-3 ATS this season. I think Vegas was off on the Hoos in the early part of the season when the offense came out firing and it’s taken time to correct. A banged up QB will lower expectations. There’s also not a ton of money coming in on the games so it makes lines get tighter to encourage more action.

Yeah I think Vegas is aware of how these injuries have impacted the offense more than models have. I feel confident we’ll one of the next three.. and I’ll never predict a VT win.

So 8 it is but I’d put the O/U at 8.5

Lots of talk about our offense (and rightfully so) but I’m getting a lot more confident in the defense. They’re deep and a lot healthier than the offense. The DL has been playing great, Kam is Kam, Marcellus is really starting to shine. The DBs are imperfect but playing a lot better. The scheme can be annoying at times but it’s working. Yes, we’ve played some bad offenses lately but we played some bad offenses early too.

@BDragon & @JBHoo do kicka$$ weekly shows, but if you want another watch like me, check out @IAmBallHawk (Bleav in Virginia)! He just brings another perspective and has some great insight since he’s around the team a little more!

I mainly watch him for the post game thoughts/comments.

Yeah we love Ballhawk. He’s helping coach HS this year or he would’ve been on the show already.

@Jwhelan33 I’m not sure you were around for the Lockdown LRA podcast… but if not… Tony Covington & Ahmad Hawkins did a whole series of interviews with Cavalier football legends.

It ran for the 22/23 football seasons… link below:

Also mentioned Wigenton is out for a few weeks, maybe the season, with an ankle injury.

OL depth continues to degrade.

It’s a real shame Wyatt appears to be damaged goods. Could really use him as guard and tackle depth
