If Bliss and Cofie can give us that Naithan George/Baye Ndongo impact, then we will be money.
Even more money when we spend $2 million for 5th year Reece a 6’7 athletic wing and TJ Power

I discovered iMac’s 3-point shooting problem - he’s been shooting them too close (probably worried about being over the arc). He needs to keep heaving them from the logo.

Minor is a man down low. Almost an immovable object. Haven’t seen that in our low post since Jack Salt. Minor playing well has significantly changed the DNA of our team
Rohde does so many things well. His defensive insticts are elite. He turns his man away more often than not. He broke the press with poise. He sees the floor well and is a great passer. Hes only a 2nd yr. He has the tools to be effective on offense .. his offense will evolve.

Yeah it’s funny. But Rohde is actually a pass-first, defensive point guard rather than the volume scorer we may have hoped for

You are right. But i think his offense will evolve with time. He has the mechanics for it

I had that conversation during the game. If Rohde was presented as a stable PG who can steady the offense and hit the 3 at a reasonableness rate. The narrative on him is completely different

I think he had visions of Nerf Hoop glory

I swear the look on his face as he prepared to take off. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was like he knew it was a bad idea but couldn’t help it. Priceless

Was very much a “Hi my name is Jake Groves and welcome to Jackass” type moment. Don’t know what the thought process was but I respect him for having the balls to try it.

That’s exactly it was. I wasn’t even mad at him for it. It was so out of the blue/funny I couldn’t be upset. At least he was making an aggressive play

Nice and fun win!
Great to see us hitting shots and mostly playing pretty good defense (I think at the beginning GT was making tough shorts but our D fell off there at the end).
Great to see Minor string together some good games.
Amazing to see what Reece can do—what a player!
I wish Rohde could shoot and Harris could make good decisions and shoot.

Watching some highlights. I noticed that when GT began to full court press that TB put the ball in Rohde’s hands a good bit of the time. Im so impressed with how he handled it with poise and patience. He broke that press down like a veteran. Impressive for a sophmore who is in his 1st year in our program. That takes a lot of pressure off Beekman.

Bennett is 18-2 against GT since becoming UVA’s coach. UVA also has the nations longest home court winning streak at 20 games. Lets hope they can make it 21 against the Pack on Wednesday night.

Love going back through game threads after wins. Not to call you out in particular I’ve made some of the dumbest comments in this boards history but it’s just crazy how quickly things can turn
