Anthony Gill has made 27 3s in his 4 seasons in the NBA. Why would we have wanted him shooting 3s like Huff?

Are you being serious? Sometimes it’s hard to tell just reading type.
He’s averaged 9.5 minutes a game in the NBA and has never been a real rotation player.
And he’s still averaged 2.2 attempts per 36 minutes.
3 seasons in Europe as a starter averaging 23 minutes per game he shot 41% from 3 at the international line which was a foot farther than the line in college when he played … decent volume too - about 1 make a game.
He also shot 39% from 3 at South Carolina on about 1 attempt per game.
Edit - I’m not saying he should have lived at the arc at UVA - but one or two attempts per game would have been great.
He also should have been fed the ball a lot more in the low and mid post … but of course that’s not Tony’s system.
Nightmares of Gill and Tobey barely touching the ball the last 14 minutes of the 2016 season after going a combined 8/12 FG in the first 26 minutes - just dominating Cuse front line

Yea that nightmare unfolded right in front of us. Never seen nothing to beat that. Probably why Tony wants good ball handlers
