Would be classic Hoos to get the team flu right before VT
Shocker. We scored in the 80’s without pointing and directing everyone where to go. Was refreshing to follow along on my drive home. Coincidence? Nope.
Miami is truly awful. We scored 1.38 ppp with shockingly easy looks throughout.
That said, glad the guys played hard on the road with two of our starters out. IMAC was a stud, and Taine had not only his career high in scoring, but the best block he will ever have.
Sneakiest 7 assist game ever for Taine…had to check multiple box scores to believe it. Great night for that guy…happy for him.
I haven’t seen a post this thirsty since Joey Hoops played
Attributing the reason that we scored 80 points to Rohde being injured and not the fact that Miami was 345th in the country in defensive efficiency coming into this game might be the most hilarious shit I’ve seen this year lmao. You guys are wild.
Smoke alarm. Been there.
The Taine game finally paid off.
I love Virginia Basketball
Power>Flagg
On the one hand, its always better to win than lose.
On the other hand, its a little jarring to think Vegas considered us an underdog to a team that bad. Or, it would be jarring for anyone who still cared about the games, which apparently no longer includes me.
We will score 54 points against Bass Tech if he’s out of the boot. Book it. Happy to be wrong here but I’m not.
Any postgame comments from Sanchez? Wondering about Saunders. Ankle injury someone said but that doesn’t tell much.
Whoever scores the most points and we win at the same time is the sexiest thing on the court at this point.
You have the weirdest Rohde vendetta. Just ease up on the kid already
Time for Utah State on FS1 and our future coach vs our future pg Dedan Thomas Jr in the rematch (UNLV won a close won last time)
Not a vendetta. Want everyone to do well. Including him. But I believe he slows things down considerably. But I root for him and think he can be good for us. But….Not a coincidence tonight we scored a lot of points in my opinion.
Ultimately, they just got caught up in a bad situation. I don’t feel sorry for them though. They are getting paid.
Several of them are going to develop into really good players in the near future and be key contributors at big-time programs.
