🏈 Virginia at Notre Dame, L, 35-14, 5-5 (3-3 ACC), Saturday, 16 November 2024, 1530, NBC

In an ideal scenario AC doesn’t play another snap this year, unless we’re blowing another team out.

I think we need to go portaling for a qb this offseason

And linemen.

Yeah… I think we tried last year. Metcalf out for the year. OL cost a lot in the portal

OL should be decent next season, at least in the starting unit. Get a good number of guys back.

We do need to hit the portal for some depth though, because injuries will happen.

Stevens will be a big loss. Hopefully Metcalf can play

IDC. I am not the one making $4M/year to figure it out. Juco, HS, Portal. There needs to be playable depth for both lines. Figure it out.

Yeah that’s the big one we gotta replace. But honestly Furnish has been ok this season, much improved compared to last year at least. Idk if they plan to play him at Center again or if it’ll be Metcalf coming off his injury but him + Steen/Boley/Josey is a good starting point.

Notre Dame is lucky that we have beaten ourselves–they arent great. Weakest top 10 team.

Agree. Just think our ceiling is capped as long as we have who we have at QB (together with our OC)

SMU is very beatable

I get that ND went conservative in the 2nd half. But Muskett ran a calm methodical offense and scored our only TD. He should start against SMU and VT. No more AC chaos.
