What do we do with a bye week already?? #depressed
“We” as fans or “we” the actual team?
Fans enjoy the chaos of Week 1 knowing we’re safe for now. It’s like winning a big conference basketball game in the Saturday noon time slot then watching hoops all day and night after.
The team basically gets a bonus week of training camp. Get guys like Kam and Flores healthy. Lots of good game tape to study, especially for all the new guys getting their first live reps in our system (and guys like Mills and Thomas shaking off rust).
You could argue our fanbase is in the most enviable position of any in the country right now
I think we can beat em by 40 or so
Get Kam and Rico healthy, not sure I need to see them against Norfolk state either. Get a fully healthy team in Charlotte against the mountaineers
Do you sit out all your starters vs bye week? Perhaps even the second stringers? Maybe just send Sparks out there to his some practice dummies.
Bye week point to ponder… if your team does so well that you don’t have to punt the ball at all during a game. Does the punter get credit for a game played? ![]()
- Yes, punter would get capped like everyone else
- No, punter should just be happy to be there
- I don’t know what getting capped means
- I abstain from voting, but i still voted for this option
Not really sure what capped means?
Like I’m gonna put a cap in his ass
Guess the assumption is he isn’t the holder or kickoff guy?
Yeah… that would be the assumption. Didnt think of that however. ![]()
Its an International sports thing… but i used it to confuse people for no apparent reason.
This is such a uva thing on a message board. A vocabulary lesson lol.
Very nice Jazz.
I think we need to continue our word of the day
Just jacking with you Jazz![]()
im talking from a fan perspective! I already more football in my life
… but back to the poll… I didn’t have to look at how you voted to know how you voted. Haha!
Duh
What’s that out of? Meaning 91 SOS out of how many teams?
Not to be lame but the schedule sets up really nicely for Beau to get some rest in between each of our big games. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ‘gets cramps’ early on in some of the easier games
NC State
(Norfolk State)
West Virginia
(Delaware)
Florida State
(Syracuse)
SMU
Can always come back in if it gets tight, but he is not lasting the season taking 15 hits a game. Load management is a real thing with running qbs, especially if we are hoping to play 14 games
