Dayton has a top 50 defense and basically thrives off creating turnovers. Middling defensive rebounding team. Protect the ball, hit the boards, win the game.

Yeah that was my impression. Teams haven’t shot well from 3 against them either.
Dayton throws a full full court press against you that makes guys have to make good decisions around the half court line. They will trap you all the way across half court. I could see us struggling - trying to do too much, force passes, etc. Especially TDR, Jacari, and Thomas. Dayton then switchesbetween man to man and throw 1-3-1 or 2-3 match up zones at you.
It gave Georgetown fits, but they were pretty undisciplined.

They also get to the free throw line A LOT. 13th best FTR. So honestly, don’t know if it’s the best match up for us. We’ll have to show some growth in how to handle ball pressure and be more disciplined in defense/fouling.

As I recall, we were looking to schedule a neutral site game to beef up the non conference like we did with Florida two years ago. Supposed to be Clemson (as a non conference game) but they backed out
