Maybe this one? Hopefully everyone made it out OK. Seemed like some students tried to control the situation and direct traffic as best they could.

Hey, so the game was on in the middle of the night here in Trieste. What happened? Anything exciting?
Just got back. What a game!
a few thoughts:
(1) I wasn’t sure anyone could top the play Chris Slade made vs GT in Atlanta in 1991. Prevard was really close with that play on Castellanos. Play of the game.
(2) That’s how you throw a wheel route — and Xavier Brown is the right guy to throw it to.
(3) Drake Metcalf had a great game.
(4) The Taylor-Brown combo is our best since Pearman-Lundy, maybe Barber-Brooks.
(5) Was hoping we’d throw a wrinkle at Duce Robinson. We never did and it almost cost us.
(6) Our speed is pretty legit on offense.
(7) Castellanos is a little rough — his fumble at the goal line was really close to a touchback.
(8) Best field rush in years. Not just at Scott — anywhere.
WAHOOWA
We are now officially a football school
edit: (Casuality does not = death LOL. Just injury and whatnot in this case)
Pittman for FSU had a great game and he might’ve been national player of the week if they won. 2 rushing TDs, 1 passing TD and 1 (spectacular) receiving TD for their TE.
I’ve probably been to 100 UVa games in my lifetime (not FSU in ‘95) and this one is/was by far the best.
Think I’ve watched the field rush about 100 times now. Doesn’t get old.
Every Virginia coach over the last 40 years has recorded a win over Florida State, starting with George Welsh, then Al Groh, Mike London, Bronco Mendenhall, now Tony Elliott.
Negative. My wife fell asleep just at end of regulation on the couch. Woke her up with some celebratory yelling.
She yelled at me that I was going to wake up the kid and I said “Good, he needs to see this” and yelled some more.
Slept on the couch. Still love the Hoos.
Best UVA OL I have seen in some time. Makes such a huge difference when you have time to execute and can run the ball credibly.
Imagine when they actually get their starters back…
Not saying I called it but I gave ya the recipe
I still can’t believe it happened.
Some good angles:

It both makes being close to end zone look kinda scary and being in the middle of the field pretty fun and safe.
I will. Talked about FSU headspace in a game thread a few weeks ago, made the prediction on the pod… taking my victory lap this morning haha.
Man what a great night. So many different thoughts opinions and emotions from last night. Can’t wait to dive into it this week. Yall be sure to tune in!
Sidenote: this team is literally one play away from potentially being top 15 this week.
Des called an excellent game. Rud’s defense came through when we needed. I thought Tony set a tone of true confidence and conviction (those 4th down calls - whew!) - never felt we played scared (that last 3rd down in regulation aside) or were playing role of the underdog.
We got some breaks. The kids didn’t quit when FSU got theirs.
Kudos to the O Line. Those takeaways on D were huge. Morris and Taylor showed they are forces to contend with. Hell, even Will Bettridge stepped up - might of been the kick of his life even though only from 39.
That is a big-time Dad Win.
Well done.
Listened to the post game interview with Tony E. on WINA while sitting in traffic leaving the game. Obviously I want and have wanted all our coaches to succeed, but damn I’m pulling for this guy and so happy for him and staff. I liked the hire when it was made, and there have certainly been challenges, but he is so easy to cheer for.
